Who We Are
The Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA) is Canada's
national industry association for advertising agencies. ICA
was founded in 1905 under national charter to promote higher
standards and best practices. ICA is the largest source of
information, advice and training for Canada's advertising
industry.
The hundred-plus ICA member agencies (as well as their 100 subsidiary companies) are located coast-to-coast and create and place 90% of all national advertising in Canada. These member agencies employ over 7,000 persons and place approximately $6 billion of advertising annually. ICA and its member agencies are committed to producing the best and most effective advertising in Canada and around the world.
